More Winter Fun!!
Friday was the perfect ski day at Snowbird, I think it got close to 50 degrees. We put the girls in all day ski school and took off with our friends the Mangrums' and Pierces' for a great day!! It was perfect snow, weather and company!!
About 1/2 way through the day we ran into the girls on some of the bigger lifts. We were so excited to see them and of course I needed to get a picture!!
After skiing we went for a swim, visited and the girls played guitar hero for their first time. They had a great time!!

Under Water Volcano
The girls participated in their first Science Fair project. It was not an assignment but an option for all 1st-3rd graders - the girls just decided they wanted to do it on their own. So with a little help from daddy they did it, and felt a great sense of accomplishment.

Ski Bunnies!!
One of my favorite passions in life is downhill skiing. The girls are finally on their way and can ski down the hill without our help. I'm so excited - I've already been planning ways to get back up to the ski hill and perhaps skip a little school. Of course we did not escape this learning experience without several tears of frustration, cold feet, cold hands and anything else the girls could complain about. I figure it builds character!! I grew up skiing with my family and I want to make it a tradition for us. We live in Utah - The greatest snow on earth!!! Our family took ski trips to Utah each year or travelled 3-4 hours to get to a ski hill - and we only live 15 min. from the slopes. I must say I'm going to take advantage. Life doesn't get much better!!!!
